Culloden Primary Academy expects to receive £21,060 in PE and sport premium for the period September 2019 to end August 2020. The school plans to spend this, or has already spent this, as follows:
- £18,362 to fund two specialist PE teachers to introduce new sports, dance and fitness activities across Y1-Y6 to encourage more pupils to take up sport and physical activities. To support and involve the least active children by providing extended school sports and holiday clubs and enter and run more sport competitions
- £6,000 on summer term PE adventurous days for all Y1 –Y6 pupils
The school is ensuring that these improvements are sustainable by:
- The employment of two PE specialist teachers.
- training of support staff to support and extended the extended school provision.
