Holiday Clubs at Mile End Leisure Centre
Mile End Leisure Centre are running holiday clubs and short courses this summer. Details are available at the links, below.
Tower Hamlets Sports Zone Summer Coaching Programme 2016
Sports Zone offers a range of sporting activity taking place Monday to Friday during the first two weeks of the summer holidays (Week 1: Monday 25 July to Friday 29 July and Week 2: Monday 1 August to Friday 5 August).
- 12 camps on offer: Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Fencing, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Rugby, Tennis and Inclusive Sport (for young people with special needs)
- £20 per week per child
- Open to boys and girls of any ability level
- Booking and payment can be made at www.thysf.org/sports-zone

Eid: School closure on Wednesday 6th July 2016
The East London Mosque have announced the Eid will be celebrated on Wednesday 6th July.
School will be open on Tuesday as normal and closed on Wednesday 6th July.
Mile End Leisure Centre Summer Holiday Club
Mile End Leisure Centre are running a holiday club from 25th July to 2nd September for 5 – 16 year olds. Please click here for more information.
Sporting Carnival 2016
Tower Hamlets Sport & Physical Activity team stage an annual Sporting Carnival event in Stepney Green Park. This year they are putting a Rio Olympic spin to the event so it will include things like capoeira, volleyball, and exotic smoothies as well as the usual rides, giant inflatables, music, arts & crafts and more! Updated Term Dates 2016-17
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets have made a change to the term dates for 2016-17, so we have changed our dates to coincide with this.
The revised dates can be viewed at Term Dates 2016 – 2017.

Extra-curricular clubs information
The following clubs will be running from Tuesday 13th September 2017, unless otherwise stated.
You can sign up for clubs on Thursday 8th September and Friday 9th September in the playground from 08:40 – 08:55 and between 15:30 and 15:45.
Mondays:
- Film Club. £5 per half term. Starts Monday 19th September 2016.
- Judo Club. Year 1 to Year 4 only. No charge. Starts Monday 19th September 2016.
Tuesdays:
- Art Club. £5 per half term.
Wednesdays:
- Art Club. £5 per half term.
- Cooking Club. £5 per half term.
Thursdays:
- Cooking Club. £5 per half term.
- Badminton Club. Year 3 – Year 6 only. No charge.
Fridays:
- ICT Club. £5 per half term.
- Code Club. No cost. See Kavitha to sign up.
- Gardening Club. £5 per half term.
Clubs are open to Years 1 to Year 6 unless otherwise stated. Payment (exact cash only) must be made to the office with a signed form to secure club places. Three places in each club will be reserved for working parents. We will send a text message to all parents to say that club sign-ups are starting. Working parents should call the office to book places if they are unable to sign up in school. All places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
