1 June 2017 – News on Amanda Phillips
It is with tremendous sadness that I have to tell you that Amanda died yesterday. While on holiday in France earlier this week, Amanda suffered a fall incurring serious head injuries which proved fatal. I know I speak for us all when I say that our thoughts and prayers are with her husband and family.
Amanda’s death is a dreadful tragedy. She led Paradigm Trust with enormous energy, tremendous skill and most of all an enduring passion to give every child an outstanding education.
She will be missed so much by everyone and we understand you will have questions – many of which we will not be able to answer yet. We are working on contingency plans and further news will be published in the Paradigm Trust website as it is available.

Next Academy Council Meeting
The next Academy Council Meeting will take place in the staff room on:
- Monday 15th May 2017, 9.00 am
Everybody is welcome to attend. This is your chance as a parent/carer to have your say!
If you would like to suggest an item for discussion, please write it down and return it to the Administration Office.
Extra-curricular clubs information
The clubs below will be running from Monday 24th April 2017, All clubs are for Year 1 upwards, unless otherwise stated.
You can sign up for clubs from Thursday 20th April in the playground from 08:45 – 08:55 and between 15:30 and 15:45. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Working parents can phone the office on 0207 364 1010 from 8am on Thursday 20th April to reserve a place. As agreed by the Academy Council, three places per club will be reserved for working parents. Payment (exact cash only) must be made to the office with a signed form to secure club places.
Mondays:
- Film Club. £5 per half term. FULL
- Creative Dance. No charge. FULL
Tuesdays:
- Art Club. £5 per half term. FULL
Wednesdays:
- Art Club. £5 per half term. FULL
- Cooking Club. £5 per half term. FULL
Thursdays:
- Cooking Club. £5 per half term. FULL
- Kickboxing Club. No charge. Years 2 upwards only. FULL
- Gardening Club. £5 per half term. FULL
Fridays:
- ICT Club. £5 per half term. FULL
