Dear Parent/Carer,

Reorganisation of the SLS and SEND service

We have been asked by the council to let you know about an important consultation.

The council is expanding a range of SEND provision to meet needs, but also considering making reductions in some areas.

If the changes are made, they will impact on how services work with the school and the children and young people the Support for Learning Service work directly with. The LA wants to know your views about the proposals.

To attend one of the online consultation meetings email Farhad Ahmed – farhad.ahmed@towerhamlets.gov.uk to register and say which meeting you want to attend.

• Monday 23 November 5pm-6pm

• Tuesday 24 November 5pm-6pm

• Wednesday 25 November 9am-10am

• Wednesday 16 December 12noon-1pm

You will then be sent information to join using Microsoft Teams.

The consultation will close at 5pm on Wednesday 6 January 2021.
