In Year 1, children are learning about a variety of everyday materials. This week in science, children learnt about the differences of a variety of everyday materials and tested their suitability for a house for the Three Little Pigs. First, they predicted the best material for a house and then built one using that material. They then tested their houses (against the force of wind) and compared their results.
