Pupils who come to this school make exceptional progress, they leave school in Year 6 with outstanding outcomes. This is due to the quality of teaching and overall provision.

There are pupils throughout the school demonstrating the above in writing and mathematics too.

Homework weekly homework projects set during the holidays.
A range of after school and lunchtime clubs.
Home school support worker, attendance and welfare advisor, social worker, specialist speech and language therapist, learning mentor.
Nursery – home visits, transition weeks, toilet training support and parent workshops.
Reception – home visits for pupils new to our school, transition day, parents workshop.
Year 1 and Year 2 – daily phonics tutoring in preparation for pupils who have not secured learning to read by the end of Year 1, handwriting and maths interventions.
Year 3 and 4 – mathematics intervention, reading intervention, homework club, residential school journey, school council, Reading Plus, Times Tables Rockstars, a range of Hinterland experiences, school council.
Year 5 – reading, writing and maths interventions, Reading Plus, Times Tables Rockstars, a range of Hinterland experiences, school council, well-being ambassadors and pupil managers
Year 6 – reading, writing and maths interventions after school and Saturday morning boosters, Reading Plus, Times Tables Rockstars, a range of Hinterland experiences, school council, well-being ambassadors and pupil managers,
For pupils with disabilities and/or special educational needs – a range of external professional support for SEND and deaf pupils-Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapist, Audiologists, BSL Teachers, Phoenix Outreach Support for pupils with ASD, Behaviour & Attendance Support Services (BASS), CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) referrals, SEND parents coffee mornings, workshops for parents, pastoral team,
