Winter Fair

Thank you to all our families and staff who attended and helped organise the winter fair.

We raised £675.30p which will be used for playground equipment, sensory materials and put back into the school Eid fair.

Be Bright, Be Seen

We celebrated road safety week, holding a Be Bright Be Seen day on Friday 21st November.

Thank you to all the pupils who dressed up brightly. Well done to Aydin Miah (RI), Lamissa (4C), Charlie (4I), Zara (3I), Aisha (3E) and Khaira (3C) for being voted the brightest dressed. The road safety poster competition will be judged soon.

Unsung Heroes

This week’s unsung heroes are:

A Reminder to Parents

If your child is part time, please collect them at 12.00pm. The Kirmichael Road entrance will promptly close at 12.05pm. Thank you.

School Disco Party

Our School Disco Party will take place on Monday 15th December 2.30pm – 3.30pm

£3 entry (money goes towards educational visits).

School Jumpers

You can buy school jumpers with the Culloden logo for £5 at school – please check with the admin team for the time and dates to purchase them.

We have limited stock left over for anyone who would like to purchase school jumpers.

Did you know we offer instrumental lessons to children in Years 3-6?

Our team of tutors offer lessons in:

  • Piano
  • Singing
  • Flute
  • Clarinet
  • Trumpet
  • Drums
  • Guitar

These lessons are at a subsidised fee that is payable through the MCAS app! Please ask at the office for more information.

Attendance Matters

It is important for all our pupils to come to school every day and on time! Regular attendance and punctuality helps us learn well in school, make friends and have fun. When we miss school, it is easy to fall behind and miss out on exciting lessons and activities. Poor attendance can also affect our friendships, making it harder to join in class discussions and group projects.

Food bank

Tahseenul Quran, in partnership with Tower Hamlets Council, will be running a food bank every Wednesday 8:30am-9.15am, outside the school gates.

Healthy School

A reminder to all parents/carers, please ensure to provide your child/ren with a healthy packed lunch. Children should not be bringing in sweets and crisps for lunch. Things you can include in your child/ren’s packed lunch are sandwiches, pasta, fruit, cheese or yoghurt.

Parents Coffee Morning

We hold a coffee morning every Wednesday during term time, from 9.10am-10.00am.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet with other parents and carers, make connections and enjoy a bit of socialising. There’s no need to book, just turn up on the day. We look forward to seeing you!

Save the Date!

There will be a special ceremony for those children who are recognised as having displayed all three of Paradigm’s values (integrity; community; excellence) by the end of June.

The ceremony will take place at Old Ford Primary on Friday 10 July, starting from 2.15pm. Parents/carers of children receiving awards will be invited to attend. We will confirm nearer the time if your child has been invited to the ceremony, along with additional details but, for now, please pencil that date and time into your diary.
